A birthday fiesta!

We celebrated Quentin's 1st birthday today. Our camera stopped working about 15 minutes before the festivities began, so I apologize for how dark and blurry these photos are.  

Q had a fabulous time, so that's all that really matters!

I do believe we will leave these decorations up all week. So pretty!

Having kids makes for a janky computer keyboard

I can still use Left Shift, Left-arrow, and sometimes the letter R (It took about 3 clicks to type that).

All other broken keys are just that. Broken. I don't even know what the one next to the space bar is supposed to be anymore.

I'm not so heartbroken over the Function keys. Who uses them again? Wish they'd have plucked the Function keys and left me the one's I need. These kids and their long arms and little fingers.

1st Haircuts

Where did all this hair come from?!

The day before the first cut

No, we did not intend to go to Sports Clips for their first hair cut.  It's a long story. 

I almost started crying when she cut the first curl and gave it to me for Ada's scrapbook

Quentin slept through most of the cut -- which is why his current cut is rather crooked
